Error Fixer - In this mode
SubtitleFix is able to :
- fix most common OCR errors (improve english spelling)
- remove comments and character names
- prompt user for ambiguous lines
- replace user specified text
User can define his/her own rules of replacement.
"Use this text replacement" check-box should be checked, in order
for this to work.
This window is accessed by clicking "Text Replacements" menu.
FPS Changer - This mode should be used if
the FPS rate or the subtitle
file doesn't match the one of the movies. If the user is not sure what is
the
FPS rate of the subtitle file, program can guess it for him / her.
After the Guess current FPS check-box is checked, user is prompted for
the
time of apperance in the movie of the last line of the subtitle file.
Time Shifter - This
mode shold be used if the subtitle lines come too late
after or too early before the they are spoken in the movie. The amound of
forward / backward shifting can be given in seconds (one must know the
FPS of the movie) or plainly in frames.
